Empowering Healthy Aging in Ramsey County: Collaborative Efforts and Resources

The Healthy Aging Initiative at Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health convenes, connects, and coordinates efforts in the county to maintain and increase the health and wellbeing of Ramsey County residents as they age. The Initiative is based in partnership with older adults, organizations, and governments to enable healthy aging in the county in equitable and culturally relevant ways.

The Ramsey County Healthy Aging Network meets monthly on Zoom. The aim is for local providers and residents to learn about resources in the community and to explore ways to work together to help older adults in the county age in healthy ways. The meetings begin with a presentation by an organization about what services they offer, how to access them, possible opportunities for collaboration, and any observations they have about aging in the county.…
